39 他 们 在 那 里 三 日 ， 与 大 卫 一 同 吃 喝 ， 因 为 他 们 的 族 弟 兄 给 他 们 预 备 了 。

1 Chronicles 12:39

And there they were with David three days, eating and
drinking
Keeping a festival, to testify their joy on this occasion:

for their brethren had prepared for them;
not the inhabitants of Hebron only, but all the country round about, brought in provisions on this joyful occasion; otherwise the men of Hebron would not have been able to have provided what was sufficient for such a vast number, as appears by what follows.

37 约 但 河 东 的 流 便 支 派 、 迦 得 支 派 、 玛 拿 西 半 支 派 ， 拿 着 各 样 兵 器 打 仗 的 有 十 二 万 人 。

38 以 上 都 是 能 守 行 伍 的 战 士 ， 他 们 都 诚 心 来 到 希 伯 仑 ， 要 立 大 卫 作 以 色 列 的 王 。 以 色 列 其 馀 的 人 也 都 一 心 要 立 大 卫 作 王 。

40 靠 近 他 们 的 人 以 及 以 萨 迦 、 西 布 伦 、 拿 弗 他 利 人 将 许 多 面 饼 、 无 花 果 饼 、 乾 葡 萄 、 酒 、 油 ， 用 驴 、 骆 驼 、 骡 子 、 牛 驮 来 ， 又 带 了 许 多 的 牛 和 羊 来 ， 因 为 以 色 列 人 甚 是 欢 乐 。
