12 所 以 你 起 身 回 家 去 罢 ！ 你 的 脚 一 进 城 ， 你 儿 子 就 必 死 了 。

1 Kings 14:12

Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house
With all haste, as soon as she could:

and when thy feet enter the city;
the city of Tirzah, very probably the king's palace stood at the entry of it, see ( 1 Kings 14:17 ) ,

the child shall die;
this is an answer to the question she was to ask, and at the same time a token of the sure and certain fulfilment of all the prophet had spoken in the name of the Lord.

10 因 此 ， 我 必 使 灾 祸 临 到 耶 罗 波 安 的 家 ， 将 属 耶 罗 波 安 的 男 丁 ， 无 论 困 住 的 、 自 由 的 都 从 以 色 列 中 剪 除 ， 必 除 尽 耶 罗 波 安 的 家 ， 如 人 除 尽 粪 土 一 般 。

11 凡 属 耶 罗 波 安 的 人 ， 死 在 城 中 的 必 被 狗 吃 ， 死 在 田 野 的 必 被 空 中 的 鸟 吃 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

12 所 以 你 起 身 回 家 去 罢 ！ 你 的 脚 一 进 城 ， 你 儿 子 就 必 死 了 。

13 以 色 列 众 人 必 为 他 哀 哭 ， 将 他 葬 埋 。 凡 属 耶 罗 波 安 的 人 ， 惟 有 他 得 入 坟 墓 ； 因 为 在 耶 罗 波 安 的 家 中 ， 只 有 他 向 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 显 出 善 行 。

14 耶 和 华 必 另 立 一 王 治 理 以 色 列 。 到 了 日 期 ， 他 必 剪 除 耶 罗 波 安 的 家 ； 那 日 期 已 经 到 了 。
