2 Kings 21:6

And he made his son pass through the fire
To Molech, after the manner of the old Canaanites and Phoenicians; his son Amon, that succeeded him, and other children, as appears from ( 2 Chronicles 33:6 ) , where mention is made of the place where it was done, the valley of the son of Hinnom:

and observed times;
lucky or unlucky, which was judged of by omens, and by the position of the stars:

and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards;
to get knowledge of things to come; all which are forbid and condemned by the law of Moses; see ( Deuteronomy 18:10-12 ) ,

he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to
anger;
in all those evils before mentioned, which were very abominable in the sight of God.

4 在 耶 和 华 殿 宇 中 筑 坛 。 耶 和 华 曾 指 着 这 殿 说 ： 我 必 立 我 的 名 在 耶 路 撒 冷 。

5 他 在 耶 和 华 殿 的 两 院 中 为 天 上 的 万 象 筑 坛 ，

6 并 使 他 的 儿 子 经 火 ， 又 观 兆 ， 用 法 术 ， 立 交 鬼 的 和 行 巫 术 的 ， 多 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 惹 动 他 的 怒 气 ；

7 又 在 殿 内 立 雕 刻 的 亚 舍 拉 像 。 耶 和 华 曾 对 大 卫 和 他 儿 子 所 罗 门 说 ： 我 在 以 色 列 众 支 派 中 所 选 择 的 耶 路 撒 冷 和 这 殿 ， 必 立 我 的 名 ， 直 到 永 远 。

8 以 色 列 人 若 谨 守 遵 行 我 一 切 所 吩 咐 他 们 的 和 我 仆 人 摩 西 所 吩 咐 他 们 的 一 切 律 法 ， 我 就 不 再 使 他 们 挪 移 离 开 我 所 赐 给 他 们 列 祖 之 地 。
