28 若 妇 人 没 有 被 玷 污 ， 却 是 清 洁 的 ， 就 要 免 受 这 灾 ， 且 要 怀 孕 。

Numbers 5:28

And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean
If she is not guilty of adultery, but pure from that sin:

then she shall be free;
from the effects of the bitter water; they shall have no such influence upon her, but she shall be as soured and healthful as ever; nay, the Jewish writers say more so, that if she had any sickness or disease upon her she would now be freed from it ^F14; the Targum of Jonathan has it, her splendour shall shine, the brightness and beauty of her countenance:

and shall conceive seed;
a man child, as the same Targum; and the Jewish writers say, if she was barren before, now she would be fruitful; but no more is meant by it than that her husband should receive her gladly, and she should live comfortably with him hereafter, and the blessing of God would be upon her, which would still be a confirmation of her chastity.

27 叫 他 喝 了 以 後 ， 他 若 被 玷 污 ， 得 罪 了 丈 夫 ， 这 致 咒 诅 的 水 必 进 入 他 里 面 变 苦 了 ， 他 的 肚 腹 就 要 发 胀 ， 大 腿 就 要 消 瘦 ， 那 妇 人 便 要 在 他 民 中 被 人 咒 诅 。

29 妻 子 背 着 丈 夫 行 了 污 秽 的 事 ，

30 或 是 人 生 了 疑 恨 的 心 ， 疑 恨 他 的 妻 ， 就 有 这 疑 恨 的 条 例 。 那 时 他 要 叫 妇 人 站 在 耶 和 华 面 前 ， 祭 司 要 在 他 身 上 照 这 条 例 而 行 。
