Acts 1:17

For he was numbered with us
He was chosen an apostle with: the rest, and was ordained into that office when they were, and was always reckoned one of the twelve, and stands in the catalogue when they are mentioned:

and had obtained part of this ministry;
by lot, as the word signifies; the providence of God so ordering it, according to his eternal purpose and decree, that he was not only called an apostle, and enrolled among them, but he really had a part in that ministry; he preached, and baptized, and wrought miracles; and besides all this, carried the bag, was the treasurer, and a sort of a steward in Christ's family, and provided for it.

15 那 时 ， 有 许 多 人 聚 会 ， 约 有 一 百 二 十 名 ， 彼 得 就 在 弟 兄 中 间 站 起 来 ， 说 ：

16 弟 兄 们 ！ 圣 灵 藉 大 卫 的 口 ， 在 圣 经 上 预 言 领 人 捉 拿 耶 稣 的 犹 大 ， 这 话 是 必 须 应 验 的 。

17 他 本 来 列 在 我 们 数 中 ， 并 且 在 使 徒 的 职 任 上 得 了 一 分 。

18 这 人 用 他 作 恶 的 工 价 买 了 一 块 田 ， 以 後 身 子 仆 倒 ， 肚 腹 崩 裂 ， 肠 子 都 流 出 来 。

19 住 在 耶 路 撒 冷 的 众 人 都 知 道 这 事 ， 所 以 按 着 他 们 那 里 的 话 给 那 块 田 起 名 叫 亚 革 大 马 ， 就 是 血 田 的 意 思 。
