8 你 不 要 惧 怕 他 们 ， 因 为 我 与 你 同 在 ， 要 拯 救 你 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

Jeremiah 1:8

Be not afraid of their faces
Their stern looks, their frowning brows, and angry countenances, which would threaten him with destruction and death: for I am with thee, to deliver thee, saith the Lord;
out of their hands, when in the most imminent danger. The Targum paraphrases the words thus,

``my Word shall be thine help to deliver thee:''

which is true of Christ, the essential Word of God.

6 我 就 说 ： 主 耶 和 华 啊 ， 我 不 知 怎 样 说 ， 因 为 我 是 年 幼 的 。

7 耶 和 华 对 我 说 ： 你 不 要 说 我 是 年 幼 的 ， 因 为 我 差 遣 你 到 谁 那 里 去 ， 你 都 要 去 ； 我 吩 咐 你 说 甚 麽 话 ， 你 都 要 说 。

9 於 是 耶 和 华 伸 手 按 我 的 口 ， 对 我 说 ： 我 已 将 当 说 的 话 传 给 你 。

10 看 哪 ， 我 今 日 立 你 在 列 邦 列 国 之 上 ， 为 要 施 行 拔 出 、 拆 毁 、 毁 坏 、 倾 覆 ， 又 要 建 立 、 栽 植 。
