耶利米书 29:19

19 耶 和 华 说 ： 这 是 因 为 他 们 没 有 听 从 我 的 话 ， 就 是 我 从 早 起 来 差 遣 我 仆 人 众 先 知 去 说 的 ， 无 奈 他 们 不 听 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

Jeremiah 29:19

Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the Lord,
&c.] Which were spoken to them by the prophets; not hearkening to them, but despising them, were the same as not hearkening to him, and despising him; contempt of God, and his word, was the cause of their ruin; see ( 2 Chronicles 36:15 2 Chronicles 36:16 ) ; which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets;
such as Hosea, Isaiah, Micah, Jeremiah, and others: rising up early, and sending [them];
which denotes the frequency of their mission; the diligent care of God towards them; and his earnest solicitude for their welfare; and the plenty of means they were favoured with; all which were aggravations of their sin: but ye would not hear, saith the Lord;
the words of the Lord by his prophets; the counsel and admonitions he gave them; but pursued their own ways and counsels, and listened to the false prophets.

17 万 军 之 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 看 哪 ， 我 必 使 刀 剑 、 饥 荒 、 瘟 疫 临 到 他 们 ， 使 他 们 像 极 坏 的 无 花 果 ， 坏 得 不 可 吃 。

18 我 必 用 刀 剑 、 饥 荒 、 瘟 疫 追 赶 他 们 ， 使 他 们 在 天 下 万 国 抛 来 抛 去 ， 在 我 所 赶 他 们 到 的 各 国 中 ， 令 人 咒 诅 、 惊 骇 、 嗤 笑 、 羞 辱 。

20 所 以 你 们 一 切 被 掳 去 的 ， 就 是 我 从 耶 路 撒 冷 打 发 到 巴 比 伦 去 的 ， 当 听 耶 和 华 的 话 。

21 万 军 之 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 论 到 哥 赖 雅 的 儿 子 亚 哈 ， 并 玛 西 雅 的 儿 子 西 底 家 ， 如 此 说 ： 他 们 是 托 我 名 向 你 们 说 假 预 言 的 ， 我 必 将 他 们 交 在 巴 比 伦 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 的 手 中 ； 他 要 在 你 们 眼 前 杀 害 他 们 。
