耶利米书 34:2

2 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 说 ， 你 去 告 诉 犹 大 王 西 底 家 ， 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 我 要 将 这 城 交 付 巴 比 伦 王 的 手 ， 他 必 用 火 焚 烧 。

Jeremiah 34:2

Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel
Who, though the covenant God of Israel, yet provoked by their sins, sends the following message to their king: go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him:
alone; and tell it to no other but him, at least at present; the message being more peculiar to him, and must, had it been told to the people, been very disheartening to them: behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon,
and he shall burn it with fire;
see ( Jeremiah 32:3 ) ; which was exactly accomplished, ( Jeremiah 52:13 ) .

1 巴 比 伦 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 率 领 他 的 全 军 和 地 上 属 他 的 各 国 各 邦 ， 攻 打 耶 路 撒 冷 和 属 耶 路 撒 冷 所 有 的 城 邑 。 那 时 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 耶 利 米 说 ：

2 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 说 ， 你 去 告 诉 犹 大 王 西 底 家 ， 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 我 要 将 这 城 交 付 巴 比 伦 王 的 手 ， 他 必 用 火 焚 烧 。

3 你 必 不 能 逃 脱 他 的 手 ， 定 被 拿 住 ， 交 在 他 的 手 中 。 你 的 眼 要 见 巴 比 伦 王 的 眼 ， 他 要 口 对 口 和 你 说 话 ， 你 也 必 到 巴 比 伦 去 。

4 犹 大 王 西 底 家 啊 ， 你 还 要 听 耶 和 华 的 话 。 耶 和 华 论 到 你 如 此 说 ： 你 必 不 被 刀 剑 杀 死 ，

5 你 必 平 安 而 死 ， 人 必 为 你 焚 烧 物 件 ， 好 像 为 你 列 祖 ， 就 是 在 你 以 前 的 先 王 焚 烧 一 般 。 人 必 为 你 举 哀 说 ： 哀 哉 ！ 我 主 啊 。 耶 和 华 说 ： 这 话 是 我 说 的 。
