16 利 甲 的 儿 子 约 拿 达 的 子 孙 能 遵 守 先 人 所 吩 咐 他 们 的 命 ， 这 百 姓 却 没 有 听 从 我 ！

Jeremiah 35:16

Because the son of Jonadab the son of Rechab
Here we have the contrast between the Rechabites and the Israelites; the obedience of the one, and the disobedience of the other; the design of which is to aggravate and expose the sin of the Jews, since the former have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded
them;
that particular commandment of not drinking wine, which they had never once violated in such a course of time; nor could they now be prevailed upon, even by the prophet himself, to do it: but this people hath not hearkened unto me;
the Lord their God, their father that bought them, made them, and established them. Gross ingratitude! ( Deuteronomy 32:6 ) .

14 利 甲 的 儿 子 约 拿 达 所 吩 咐 他 子 孙 不 可 喝 酒 的 话 ， 他 们 已 经 遵 守 ， 直 到 今 日 也 不 喝 酒 ， 因 为 他 们 听 从 先 祖 的 吩 咐 。 我 从 早 起 来 警 戒 你 们 ， 你 们 却 不 听 从 我 。

15 我 从 早 起 来 ， 差 遣 我 的 仆 人 众 先 知 去 ， 说 ： 你 们 各 人 当 回 头 ， 离 开 恶 道 ， 改 正 行 为 ， 不 随 从 事 奉 别 　 神 ， 就 必 住 在 我 所 赐 给 你 们 和 你 们 列 祖 的 地 上 。 只 是 你 们 没 有 听 从 我 ， 也 没 有 侧 耳 而 听 。

17 因 此 ， 耶 和 华 ─ 万 军 之 　 神 、 以 色 列 的 　 神 如 此 说 ： 我 要 使 我 所 说 的 一 切 灾 祸 临 到 犹 大 人 和 耶 路 撒 冷 的 一 切 居 民 。 因 为 我 对 他 们 说 话 ， 他 们 没 有 听 从 ； 我 呼 唤 他 们 ， 他 们 没 有 答 应 。
