Jeremiah 35:8

Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our
father
The above was the charge he gave them; and this, in every article of it, they had carefully and constantly kept, though it had been for the space of three hundred years, or thereabout; as follows: in all he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our
wives, our sons, nor our daughters;
which was the first of the precepts he gave them: and which they were now tempted to disregard, but were resolved to observe it, as they had hitherto done. The rest of the articles follow.

6 他 们 却 说 ： 我 们 不 喝 酒 ； 因 为 我 们 先 祖 利 甲 的 儿 子 约 拿 达 曾 吩 咐 我 们 说 ： 你 们 与 你 们 的 子 孙 永 不 可 喝 酒 ，

7 也 不 可 盖 房 、 撒 种 、 栽 种 葡 萄 园 ， 但 一 生 的 年 日 要 住 帐 棚 ， 使 你 们 的 日 子 在 寄 居 之 地 得 以 延 长 。
