A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land.
] What may justly raise admiration in some, and horror in others, or both in all: it is so amazing that it can hardly be conceived of, and so shameful and filthy as not to be expressed; what it is follows:

28 他 们 肥 胖 光 润 ， 作 恶 过 甚 ， 不 为 人 伸 冤 ！ 就 是 不 为 孤 儿 伸 冤 ， 不 使 他 亨 通 ， 也 不 为 穷 人 辨 屈 。

29 耶 和 华 说 ： 我 岂 不 因 这 些 事 讨 罪 呢 ？ 岂 不 报 复 这 样 的 国 民 呢 ？
