7 所 以 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 这 所 谋 的 必 立 不 住 ， 也 不 得 成 就 。

Isaiah 7:7

Thus saith the Lord GOD, it shall not stand
That is, the counsel they had taken against Judah to vex it, make a breach in it, and set a king of their own liking over it; so the Septuagint and Arabic versions render the words, "that counsel shall not stand"; the counsel of God shall stand, but not the counsel of men, when it is against him, ( Proverbs 19:21 ) ( Isaiah 46:10 ) : neither shall it come to pass;
or "shall not be"; so far from standing, succeeding, and going forward, till it is brought to a final accomplishment, it should not take footing, or have a being.

5 因 为 亚 兰 和 以 法 莲 ， 并 利 玛 利 的 儿 子 ， 设 恶 谋 害 你 ，

6 说 ： 我 们 可 以 上 去 攻 击 犹 大 ， 扰 乱 他 ， 攻 破 他 ， 在 其 中 立 他 比 勒 的 儿 子 为 王 。

7 所 以 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 这 所 谋 的 必 立 不 住 ， 也 不 得 成 就 。

8 原 来 亚 兰 的 首 城 是 大 马 色 ； 大 马 色 的 首 领 是 利 汛 。 （ 六 十 五 年 之 内 ， 以 法 莲 必 然 破 坏 ， 不 再 成 为 国 民 。 ）

9 以 法 莲 的 首 城 是 撒 玛 利 亚 ； 撒 玛 利 亚 的 首 领 是 利 玛 利 的 儿 子 。 你 们 若 是 不 信 ， 定 然 不 得 立 稳 。
