18 你 们 今 日 竟 转 去 不 跟 从 耶 和 华 麽 ？ 你 们 今 日 既 悖 逆 耶 和 华 ， 明 日 他 必 向 以 色 列 全 会 众 发 怒 。

约书亚记 22:18 Meaning and Commentary

Joshua 22:18

But that you must turn away this day from following the
Lord?
&c.] From the worship of the Lord, as the Targum, and so on ( Joshua 22:16 ) ; not content with the former transgression, but must add this revolt unto it, and at a time which sadly aggravates it:

and it will be, that [seeing] ye rebel to, day against the Lord;
against the Word of the Lord, as the Targum, and so on ( Joshua 22:16 ) ;

that tomorrow he will be wroth with the whole congregation of Israel;
or, in a little time, if a stop is not put to this revolt, the whole body of the people will suffer for it: here they express a concern for the whole nation of Israel, as well as for the glory of God; for sometimes the whole congregation has been charged with the sins of individuals, and punished for it, as a case after mentioned shows; see ( Joshua 7:1 Joshua 7:5 ) .

16 耶 和 华 全 会 众 这 样 说 ， 你 们 今 日 转 去 不 跟 从 耶 和 华 ， 干 犯 以 色 列 的 　 神 ， 为 自 己 筑 一 座 坛 ， 悖 逆 了 耶 和 华 ， 这 犯 的 是 甚 麽 罪 呢 ？

17 从 前 拜 ? 珥 的 罪 孽 还 算 小 麽 ？ 虽 然 瘟 疫 临 到 耶 和 华 的 会 众 ， 到 今 日 我 们 还 没 有 洗 净 这 罪 。

18 你 们 今 日 竟 转 去 不 跟 从 耶 和 华 麽 ？ 你 们 今 日 既 悖 逆 耶 和 华 ， 明 日 他 必 向 以 色 列 全 会 众 发 怒 。

19 你 们 所 得 为 业 之 地 ， 若 嫌 不 洁 净 ， 就 可 以 过 到 耶 和 华 之 地 ， 就 是 耶 和 华 的 帐 幕 所 住 之 地 ， 在 我 们 中 间 得 地 业 。 只 是 不 可 悖 逆 耶 和 华 ， 也 不 可 得 罪 我 们 ， 在 耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 　 神 的 坛 以 外 为 自 己 筑 坛 。

20 从 前 谢 拉 的 曾 孙 亚 干 岂 不 是 在 那 当 灭 的 物 上 犯 了 罪 ， 就 有 忿 怒 临 到 以 色 列 全 会 众 麽 ？ 那 人 在 所 犯 的 罪 中 不 独 一 人 死 亡 。
