Joshua 7:20

And Achan answered Joshua, and said
He made a free and open confession of his sin:

indeed I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel;
against him who had been so good to Israel in many instances, and particularly in delivering Jericho into their hands in so extraordinary a manner; against a law of his, respecting the spoil of that city, which sin was the more aggravated thereby; and that he had committed the sin he was taken for and charged with, he owns was a true and real fact:

and thus and thus have I done;
such and such things have I taken, and in the manner as follows.

18 使 撒 底 的 家 室 ， 按 着 人 丁 ， 一 个 一 个 的 近 前 来 ， 就 取 出 犹 大 支 派 的 人 谢 拉 的 曾 孙 ， 撒 底 的 孙 子 ， 迦 米 的 儿 子 亚 干 。

19 约 书 亚 对 亚 干 说 ： 我 儿 ， 我 劝 你 将 荣 耀 归 给 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 ， 在 他 面 前 认 罪 ， 将 你 所 做 的 事 告 诉 我 ， 不 要 向 我 隐 瞒 。

20 亚 干 回 答 约 书 亚 说 ： 我 实 在 得 罪 了 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 。 我 所 做 的 事 如 此 如 此 ：

21 我 在 所 夺 的 财 物 中 看 见 一 件 美 好 的 示 拿 衣 服 ， 二 百 舍 客 勒 银 子 ， 一 条 金 子 重 五 十 舍 客 勒 ， 我 就 贪 爱 这 些 物 件 ， 便 拿 去 了 。 现 今 藏 在 我 帐 棚 内 的 地 里 ， 银 子 在 衣 服 底 下 。

22 约 书 亚 就 打 发 人 跑 到 亚 干 的 帐 棚 里 。 那 件 衣 服 果 然 藏 在 他 帐 棚 内 ， 银 子 在 底 下 。
