Maneh [N] [S]

portion ( Ezekiel 45:12 ), rendered "pound" ( 1 Kings 10:17 ; Ezra 2:69 ; Nehemiah 7:71 Nehemiah 7:72 ), a weight variously estimated, probably about 2 1/2 or 3 lbs. A maneh of gold consisted of a hundred common shekels (q.v.). (Compare 1 Kings 10:17 , and 2 Chronicles 9:16 ).
