2 Chronicles 20:30

So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet
Both within and without; they were at peace among themselves, and none from abroad dared to molest them:

for his God gave him rest round about;
from all his enemies; the Targum has it, the Word of his God; and so, in the preceding verse, the Word of the Lord fought; and in ( 2 Chronicles 20:28 ) the Word of the Lord made them rejoice.

28 Und sie kamen nach Jerusalem, zum Hause Jehovas, mit Harfen und mit Lauten und mit Trompeten.

29 Und der Schrecken Gottes fiel auf alle Königreiche der Länder, als sie hörten, daß Jehova mit den Feinden Israels gestritten hatte.

30 Und das Königreich Josaphats hatte Ruhe; und sein Gott schaffte ihm Ruhe ringsumher.

31 Und so regierte Josaphat über Juda. Er war fünfunddreißig Jahre alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte fünfundzwanzig Jahre zu Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Asuba, die Tochter Schilchis.

32 Und er wandelte auf dem Wege seines Vaters Asa und wich nicht davon, indem er tat, was recht war in den Augen Jehovas.
