2 Chronicles 24:30

And the chief of the house of the father of the families of
the Kohathites [shall be] Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
] The same man, who, with his brother Mishael, carried Nadab and Abihu out of the camp, and buried them, ( Leviticus 10:4 Leviticus 10:5 ) ; he descended from the last and youngest of the families of the Kohathites; and some think this was one reason at least of Korah's dissatisfaction, and of his entering into a conspiracy against Moses and Aaron, because one of a younger family of his house was preferred to this dignity before him.

1 Sieben Jahre war Joas alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte vierzig Jahre zu Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Zibja, von Beerseba.
2 Und Joas tat, was recht war in den Augen Jehovas, alle die Tage des Priesters Jojada.
3 Und Jojada nahm ihm zwei Weiber; und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
4 Und es geschah hernach, daß Joas im Herzen hatte, das Haus Jehovas zu erneuern.
5 Und er versammelte die Priester und die Leviten und sprach zu ihnen: Ziehet aus in die Städte Judas, und sammelt Geld ein von ganz Israel, um das Haus eures Gottes auszubessern von Jahr zu Jahr; und ihr sollt mit der Sache eilen. Aber die Leviten eilten nicht.
