13 Und nun sende ich einen kunstverstÀndigen, einsichtsvollen Mann, Huram-Abi,
14 den Sohn eines Weibes von den Töchtern Dans, und dessen Vater ein Tyrer war, der zu arbeiten weiß in Gold und Silber, in Erz, in Eisen, in Steinen und in Holz, in rotem Purpur, in blauem Purpur und in Byssus und in Karmesin, und allerlei Schnitzarbeit zu machen, und allerlei Kunstwerk zu ersinnen, das ihm aufgegeben wird, nebst deinen KunstverstĂ€ndigen und den KunstverstĂ€ndigen meines Herrn David, deines Vaters.

Solomon intending to build a temple for God, and a palace for himself, sent to Hiram, king of Tyre, to furnish him with materials and workmen, 2Ch 2:1-10, to which Hiram returned an agreeable answer, 2Ch 2:11-16, and for this service Solomon numbered all the strangers in Israel, 2Ch 2:17,18.
