Galatians 1:3

Grace to be you
After the inscription above, in which the writer of the epistle, and the persons joined to him, are described, and the churches to whom it is written, follows the salutation in these words, and which is common to all the epistles of this apostle; of the sense of which, (See Gill on Romans 1:7). The Alexandrian copy reads, "from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ"; and the Ethiopic version reads, "our Father".

1 Paulus, Apostel, nicht von Menschen, noch durch einen Menschen, sondern durch Jesum Christum und Gott, den Vater, der ihn auferweckt hat aus den Toten,
2 und alle Brüder, die bei mir sind, den Versammlungen von Galatien:
3 Gnade euch und Friede von Gott, dem Vater, und unserem Herrn Jesus Christus,
4 der sich selbst für unsere Sünden hingegeben hat, damit er uns herausnehme aus der gegenwärtigen bösen Welt, nach dem Willen unseres Gottes und Vaters,
5 welchem die Herrlichkeit sei von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! Amen.
