2 Samuel 19:30

And Mephibosheth said unto the king, yea, let him take all,
&c.] The whole estate, as David had given it to him; he was content that that last grant should stand:

forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own
house;
his palace in Jerusalem; which was a strong expression of affection for him, and loyalty to him.

31 Now Barzillai the Gileadite had come down from Rogelim, and he went on with the king to the Jordan, to escort him over the Jordan.

32 Barzillai was a very aged man, eighty years old. He had provided the king with food while he stayed at Mahanaim, for he was a very wealthy man.
