Acts 17:24-28

24 ¹The God who made the world and everything in it, being ²Lord of heaven and earth, ³does not live in temples made by man, ^[a]

25 nor is he served by human hands, ⁴as though he needed anything, since he himself ⁵gives to all mankind ⁶life and breath and everything.

26 And ⁷he made from one man every nation of mankind to live ⁸on all the face of the earth, ⁹having determined allotted periods and ¹⁰the boundaries of their dwelling place,

27 ¹¹that they should seek God, ¹²and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. ¹³Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,

28 for ¹⁴“‘In him we live and move and have our being’; ^[b] as even some of ¹⁵your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring. ’ ^[c]
