John 1:10-13

10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet ¹the world did not know him.

11 He came to ²his own, ^[a] and ³his own people^{[b] 4}did not receive him.

12 But to all who did receive him, ⁵who believed in his name, ⁶he gave the right ⁷to become ⁸children of God,

13 who ⁹were born, ¹⁰not of blood ¹¹nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
