And he told them a parable, saying,
1āThe land of a rich man produced plentifully,

and he thought to himself,
2āWhat shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops? ā
18
And he said, āI will do this: I will tear down my
3barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
19
And I will say to my soul, āSoul, you have ample goods laid up
4for many years; relax,
5eat, drink, be merry. āā
20
But God said to him,
6āFool!
7This night
8your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared,
9whose will they be? ā
