10

1She went and told those who had been with him,
2as they
3mourned and wept.

              11

But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they
4would not believe it.

Jesus Appears to Two Disciples
 12  5After these things
6he appeared in
7another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country.

              13

8And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.

The Great Commission
 14 Afterward
9he appeared
10to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their
11unbelief and
12hardness of heart, because
13they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen.

              15

And he said to them,
14“Go into all the world and
15proclaim the gospel to
16the whole creation.

              16

17Whoever believes and is
18baptized
19will be saved, but
20whoever
21does not believe will be condemned.

              17

And
22these signs will accompany those who believe:
23in my name they will cast out demons;
24they will speak in new tongues;

              18

25they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them;
26they will lay their hands
27on the sick, and they will recover. ”

              19

So then the Lord Jesus,
28after he had spoken to them,
29was taken up into heaven and
30sat down at the right hand of God.

              20

And they went out and preached everywhere, while
31the Lord worked with them and confirmed
32the message
33by accompanying signs. ]]
