Matthew 4:2-4

2 And after fasting ¹forty days and forty nights, he ²was hungry.

3 And ³the tempter came and said to him, “If you are ⁴the Son of God, command ⁵these stones to become loaves of bread. ”

4 But he answered, ⁶“It is written, ⁷“‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. ’”
