Philippians 3:1-6

Righteousness Through Faith in Christ

1 Finally, my brothers,[a]1rejoice in the Lord. 2To write the same things to you is no trouble to me and is safe for you.
2 Look out for 3the dogs, look out for 4the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh.
3 For 5we are the circumcision, 6who worship 7by the Spirit of God[b] and 8glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh--
4 9though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more:
5 10circumcised on the eighth day, 11of the people of Israel, 12of the tribe of Benjamin, 13a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, 14a Pharisee;
6 15as to zeal, 16a persecutor of the church; 17as to righteousness under the law,[c] blameless.
