6 And the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered, “She is the young Moabite woman, 1who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab.

Ruth 2:6

And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and
said
Who had taken a great deal of notice of Ruth, and had conversed with her, and so was capable of giving answers to his master's question:

it is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi, out of the
country of Moab;
perhaps he had not got knowledge of her name, and therefore only describes her by the country from whence she came; and by her coming from thence along with Naomi, when she returned from Moab, with whose name Boaz was well acquainted, and of whose return he had been informed; and perhaps had seen her in person, and even Ruth also, though he might have forgot her; the Targum makes the servant to add, that she was become a proselytess.

4 And behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem. And he said to the reapers, “The Lord be with you! ” And they answered, “The Lord bless you. ”
5 Then Boaz said to his young man who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this? ”
6 And the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered, “She is the young Moabite woman, who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab.
7 She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers. ’ So she came, and she has continued from early morning until now, except for a short rest. ”
8 Then Boaz said to Ruth, “Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women.
