11 E Iahat era il primo, e Zina il secondo; ma Ieus, e Beria, perchè non moltiplicarono in figliuoli, furono messi in una medesima descrizione, come una medesima casa paterna.

1 Chronicles 23:11

And Jahath was the chief
The prince and head of a family:

and Ziza the second;
the same with Zina in ( 1 Chronicles 23:10 ) , and is there read Ziza in the Septuagint and Vulgate Latin versions:

but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons;
so as to constitute distinct families:

therefore they were in one reckoning, according to their father's
house;
made one family with their brethren.

9 I figliuoli di Simi furono tre: Selomit, ed Haziel, ed Haran. Questi furono i capi delle famiglie paterne de’ Ladaniti.
10 E i figliuoli di Simi furono Iahat, e Zina, e Ieus, e Beria. Questi furono i figliuoli di Simi, in numero di quattro.
11 E Iahat era il primo, e Zina il secondo; ma Ieus, e Beria, perchè non moltiplicarono in figliuoli, furono messi in una medesima descrizione, come una medesima casa paterna.
12 I figliuoli di Chehat furono quattro: Amram, Ishar, Hebron, ed Uzziel.
13 I figliuoli di Amram furono Aaronne e Mosè. Ed Aaronne fu messo da parte, insieme co’ suoi figliuoli, in perpetuo, per santificar le cose santissime, per far profumi davanti al Signore, per ministrargli, e per benedire al nome di esso, in perpetuo.
