2 Kings 15:2

Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign
By the consent of the people and princes of Judah, ( 2 Kings 14:21 )

and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem:
exclusive of the eleven or twelve years of his minority, from his father's death:

and his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem;
of whom there is no further account any where.

2 Egli era d’età di sedici anni, quando cominciò a regnare; e regnò in Gerusalemme cinquantadue anni. E il nome di sua madre era Iecolia, da Gerusalemme.

3 Ed egli fece ciò che piace al Signore, interamente come avea fatto Amasia, suo padre.

4 Sol gli alti luoghi non furono tolti via; il popolo sacrificava ancora, e faceva profumi, sopra gli alti luoghi.

5 Or il Signore percosse il re, ed egli fu lebbroso infin al giorno della sua morte, e dimorò in una casa in disparte; e Iotam, figliuolo del re, era mastro del palazzo, e rendeva ragione al popolo del paese.
