Ma essi non ubbidirono; anzi fecero secondo il loro costume antico.

Così quelle genti riverivano il Signore, e insieme servivano alle loro sculture. I lor figliuoli anch’essi, e i figliuoli de’ lor figliuoli fanno, infino ad oggi, come fecero i lor padri.
