Deuteronomy 14:19

And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean
Which the Targum of Jonathan thus paraphrases;

``all flies and wasps (or hornets), and worms of lentiles and of beans, which are separated from food, and fly as birds, they are unclean;''

18 e la cicogna, e ogni specie d’aghirone, e l’upupa, e il vipistrello.
19 Siavi parimente immondo ogni rettile volatile; non mangisene.
20 Voi potrete mangiar d’ogni volatile mondo.
21 Non mangiate d’alcuna carne morta da sè; dalla a mangiare al forestiere che sarà dentro alle tue porte, o vendila ad alcuno straniere; perciocchè tu sei un popol santo al Signore Iddio tuo. Non cuocere il capretto nel latte di sua madre.
