Philippians 2:23

Him therefore I hope to send presently
For the reasons now given:

so soon as I shall see how it will go with me;
whether he should be released from his bonds or not; whether he should live or die; whether he should be set free, or be called to suffer martyrdom for the sake of Christ; for he expected, that the matter would be determined in a very short time, when, be it at it would, Timothy would be spared.

21 Poichè tutti cercano il lor proprio, non ciò che è di Cristo Gesù.
22 Ma voi conoscete la prova d’esso; come egli ha servito meco nell’evangelo, nella maniera che un figliuolo serve al padre.
23 Io spero adunque mandarlo, subito che avrò veduto come andranno i fatti miei.
24 Or io ho fidanza nel Signore ch’io ancora tosto verrò.
25 Ma ho stimato necessario di mandarvi Epafrodito, mio fratello, e compagno d’opera, e di milizia, e vostro apostolo, e ministro de’ miei bisogni.
