John 10:37

If I do not the works of my Father
Not only what the Father had given him to finish, and which he wrought by him as man, but such as were as great as the Father had done, and were equal to them; and which could not be done by any, but by the Father, or by one that is equal with him:

believe me not:
Christ appeals to his miracles as proofs of his deity, sonship, and Messiahship, and desires no other credit than what they demand; see ( Matthew 11:3-5 ) ( John 5:36 ) .

35 Se chiama dii coloro, a’ quali la parola di Dio è stata indirizzata; e la scrittura non può essere annullata;

36 dite voi che io, il quale il Padre ha santificato, ed ha mandato nel mondo, bestemmio, perciocchè ho detto: Io son Figliuolo di Dio?

37 Se io non fo le opere del Padre mio, non crediatemi.

38 Ma, s’io le fo, benchè non crediate a me, credete alle opere, acciocchè conosciate, e crediate che il Padre è in me, e ch’io sono in lui.

39 Essi adunque di nuovo cercavano di pigliarlo; ma egli uscì dalle lor mani.
