Isaiah 37:15

And Hezekiah prayed unto the Lord, saying.
] He did not return railing for railing, but committed himself and his cause to him that judgeth righteously; he did not write an answer to the letter himself, but lays it before the Lord, and prays him to answer it, who was most principally reflected on in it.

13 Dove è il re di Hamat, e il re di Arpad, e il re della città di Sefarvaim, di Hena, e di Ivva?
14 Quando Ezechia ebbe ricevute quelle lettere, per mano di que’ messi, e le ebbe lette, salì alla Casa del Signore, e le spiegò davanti al Signore.
15 Ed Ezechia fece orazione al Signore, dicendo:
16 O Signore degli eserciti, Iddio d’Israele, che siedi sopra i Cherubini, tu solo sei l’Iddio di tutti i regni della terra; tu hai fatto il cielo e la terra.
17 O Signore, inchina il tuo orecchio, e odi; o Signore, apri i tuoi occhi, e vedi; ed ascolta tutte le parole di Sennacherib, ch’egli ha mandate a dire, per oltraggiar l’Iddio vivente.
