Luke 23:10

And the chief priests and Scribes
The sanhedrim that followed him from Pilate's hall, to Herod's palace; fearing, lest Herod should be disposed to let him go, should he gratify him by working a miracle: stood;
before Herod; so witnesses, and accusers, used to do; (See Gill on Mark 14:57) and vehemently accused him;
of the same things they had accused him before Pilate, with great bitterness and constancy, increasing, and aggravating the charges against him.

8 Ed Erode, veduto Gesù, se ne rallegrò grandemente; perciocchè da molto tempo desiderava di vederlo; perchè avea udite molte cose di lui, e sperava veder fargli qualche miracolo.
9 E lo domandò per molti ragionamenti; ma egli non gli rispose nulla.
10 Ed i principali sacerdoti, e gli Scribi, comparvero quivi, accusandolo con grande sforzo.
11 Ma Erode, co’ suoi soldati, dopo averlo sprezzato, e schernito, lo vestì d’una veste bianca, e lo rimandò a Pilato.
12 Ed Erode e Pilato divennero amici insieme in quel giorno; perciocchè per l’addietro erano stati in inimicizia fra loro.
