1 ORA, dopo ch’egli ebbe finiti tutti questi suoi ragionamenti, udente il popolo, entrò in Capernaum.

Luke 7:1

Now when he had ended all his sayings
That is, when Jesus, as the Persic version expresses it, had finished all the above sayings, doctrines, and instructions; not all that he had to say, for he said many things after this:

in the audience of the people;
of the common people, the multitude besides the disciples; and that openly, and publicly, and with a loud and clear voice, that all might hear:

he entered into Capernaum;
Jesus entered, as the Syriac version reads, into his own city, and where he had been before, and wrought miracles.

1 ORA, dopo ch’egli ebbe finiti tutti questi suoi ragionamenti, udente il popolo, entrò in Capernaum.

2 E il servitore di un certo centurione, il quale gli era molto caro, era malato, e stava per morire.

3 Or il centurione, avendo udito parlar di Gesù, gli mandò degli anziani de’ Giudei, pregandolo che venisse, e salvasse il suo servitore.

4 Ed essi, venuti a Gesù, lo pregarono instantemente, dicendo: Egli è degno che tu gli conceda questo;

5 perciocchè egli ama la nostra nazione, ed egli è quel che ci ha edificata la sinagoga.
