Mark 13:6

For many shall come in my name
Taking upon them the name of the Messiah: saying,

I am [Christ];
the word "Christ", is rightly supplied from ( Matthew 24:5 ) ; otherwise in the original it is only, "I am"; which the Persic version doubles, reading it, "I am indeed, I am": he that was promised and expected, the true Messiah; he that was to come:

and shall deceive many; (See Gill on Matthew 24:5).

4 Dicci, quando avverranno queste cose? e qual sarà il segno del tempo, nel quale tutte queste cose avranno fine?

5 E Gesù, rispondendo loro, prese a dire: Guardate che nessun vi seduca.

6 Perciocchè molti verranno sotto il mio nome, dicendo: Io son desso; e ne sedurranno molti.

7 Ora, quando udirete guerre, e romori di guerre, non vi turbate; perciocchè conviene che queste cose avvengano; ma non sarà ancora la fine.

8 Perciocchè una gente si leverà contro all’altra, ed un regno contro all’altro; e vi saranno tremoti in ogni luogo, e fami, e turbamenti.
