Matthew 19:2

And great multitudes followed him
The Persic version adds, "of the sick and diseased"; but all that followed him were not such, though some were: these came not only from Galilee, but from the adjacent parts, from the country beyond Jordan, and the coasts of Judea, where he had been formerly; and who resort to him again, as Mark observes; and whom, according to his usual manner, he taught and instructed in the knowledge of divine things, and confirmed his doctrines by miracles:

and he healed them there;
in the above mentioned places, even as many of them as were sick and diseased.

1 E QUANDO Gesù ebbe finiti questi ragionamenti, si dipartì di Galilea, e venne ne’ confini della Giudea, lungo il Giordano.

2 E molte turbe lo seguitarono, ed egli li sanò quivi.

3 E i Farisei si accostarono a lui, tentandolo, e dicendogli: È egli lecito all’uomo di mandar via la sua moglie per qualunque cagione?

4 Ed egli, rispondendo, disse loro: Non avete voi letto che Colui, che da principio fece ogni cosa, fece gli uomini maschio e femmina?

5 E disse: Perciò, l’uomo lascerà il padre e la madre, e si congiungerà con la sua moglie, e i due diverranno una stessa carne.
