Numbers 3:43

And all the firstborn males
For such only were ordered to be numbered, and not firstborn females:

by the number of names;
which were particularly taken:

from a month old and upward;
for before that time they were not sanctified to the Lord, nor subject to the redemption price:

of those that were numbered of them [were] twenty and two thousand two
hundred and threescore and thirteen;
22,273 men; so that there were two hundred seventy three more than the Levites, ( Numbers 3:39 ) .

41 E prendi per me, io sono il Signore, i Leviti, in luogo di tutti i primogeniti d’infra i figliuoli d’Israele; prendi parimente il bestiame de’ Leviti, in luogo di tutti i primogeniti del bestiame dei figliuoli d’Israele.
42 E Mosè annoverò tutti i primogeniti d’infra i figliuoli d’Israele, come il Signore gli avea comandato.
43 E tutti i primogeniti maschi, secondo che furono annoverati, contati per nome, dall’età di un mese in su, furono ventiduemila dugensettantatrè.
44 Il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:
45 Prendi i Leviti in luogo di tutti i primogeniti d’infra i figliuoli d’Israele; e il bestiame de’ Leviti in luogo del bestiame di essi; e sieno i Leviti miei. Io sono il Signore.
