1 OR questi furono i figliuoli di Davide, che gli nacquero in Hebron: il primogenito fu Amnon, d’Ahinoam Izreelita; il secondo, Daniele, di Abigail Carmelita;
2 il terzo, Absalom, figliuolo di Maaca, figliuola di Talmai, re di Ghesur; il quarto, Adonia figliuolo di Hagghit; il quinto, Sefatia, di Abital;
3 il sesto, Itream, di Egla, sua moglie.
4 Questi sei gli nacquero in Hebron, ove regnò sett’anni e sei mesi; poi regnò trentatre anni in Gerusalemme.
5 E questi gli nacquero in Gerusalemme: Sima, e Sobab, e Natan, e Salomone, quattro di Batsua, figliuola di Ammiel;
6 ed Ibhar, ed Elisama,
7 ed Elifelet, e Noga, e Nefeg, e Iafia,
8 ed Elisama, ed Eliada, ed Elifelet; nove in tutto.
9 Tutti questi furono figliuoli di Davide, oltre a’ figliuoli delle concubine; e Tamar, lor sorella.

This chapter gives an account of the sons of David, born to him both in Hebron and in Jerusalem, 1Ch 3:1-9, and of his successors in the kingdom, to the Babylonish captivity, 1Ch 3:10-16, and of his family, to the coming of the Messiah, 1Ch 3:17-24.

born in Hebron, who are reckoned in the same order as in 2Sa 3:2-5, only here the second son is called Daniel, who there goes by the name of Chileab; he had two names, the reason of which see there; and here David's wife, Eglah, is said in the Targum to be Michal, Saul's daughter, \\See Gill on "2Sa 3:5"\\, to which is added an account of his reign both in Hebron and Jerusalem, agreeably to 2Sa 5:5. 18321-941229-1000-1Ch3.2
