5 Ed a lui appartiene il mare, perchè egli l’ha fatto; E l’asciutto, perchè le sue mani l’hanno formato.

Psalms 95:5

The sea is his, and he made it
He made it, and therefore it is, and all creatures in it; he sets bounds to it, and its waves, and restrains the raging of it at his pleasure, ( Matthew 8:26 Matthew 8:27 ) ,

and his hands formed the dry land;
the whole world, all besides the sea, the vast continent; he is the Maker of it, and all creatures in it; without him was nothing made that is made; and, being the Creator of all things, is the proper object of worship, ( John 1:2 John 1:3 ) ( Romans 1:25 ) , as follows.

3 Perciocchè il Signore è Dio grande, E Re grande sopra tutti gl’iddii.
4 Perciocchè egli tiene in mano le profondità della terra; E le altezze de’ monti sono sue.
5 Ed a lui appartiene il mare, perchè egli l’ha fatto; E l’asciutto, perchè le sue mani l’hanno formato.
6 Venite, adoriamo, ed inchiniamoci; Inginocchiamoci davanti al Signore che ci ha fatti.
7 Perciocchè egli è il nostro Dio; E noi siamo il popolo del suo pasco, E la greggia della sua condotta.
