Genesis 5:28

And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and
begat son.
] According to the Septuagint version he was an hundred and eighty eight years old; but according to the Samaritan version only fifty three; the name, of his son, begotten by him, is given in the next verse, with the reason of it.

26 Metushelach lived after he became the father of Lamekh seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of sons and daughters.
27 All the days of Metushelach were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died.
28 Lamekh lived one hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of a son,
29 and he named him Noach, saying, "This same will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD has cursed."
30 Lamekh lived after he became the father of Noach five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of sons and daughters.
