Luke 17:11-19

Listen to Luke 17:11-19
11 It happened as he was on his way to Yerushalayim, that he was passing along the borders of Shomron and the Galil.
12 As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood far away.
13 They lifted up their voices, saying, "Yeshua, Master, have mercy on us!"
14 When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the Kohanim." It happened, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
16 He fell on his face at his feet, giving him thanks. He was a Shomroni.
17 Yeshua answered, "Weren't the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?"
19 He said to him, "Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you."

Thanksgiving Is Two Directional
Thanksgiving Is Two Directional
Pastor Jack Morris

On today’s Healing Word broadcast, Pastor Jack Morris shares a message titled Thanksgiving Is Two Directional. Rooted in Luke 17:11–19, this passage tells the story of ten lepers who cried out to Jesus for healing—and how only one of them returned to give thanks.Pastor Jack reminds us that true thanksgiving isn’t complete until it moves in two directions: upward, in gratitude to God, and outward, in the way we live and serve others. Gratitude is more than words—it’s a lifestyle that reflects our awareness of God’s mercy and our willingness to act in response to it.
