Psalms 79:4

We are become a reproach to our neighbours
That is, those that remained; so the Jews were to the Edomites, especially at the time of the Babylonish captivity, ( Psalms 137:7 ) ,

a scorn and derision to them that are round about us;
as the Christians in all ages have been to the men of the world, and especially will be insulted and triumphed over when the witnesses are slain, ( Revelation 11:10 ) .

2 They have given the dead bodies of your servants to be food for the birds of the sky, The flesh of your holy ones to the animals of the eretz.
3 Their blood they have shed like water around Yerushalayim. There was no one to bury them.
4 We have become a reproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and derision to those who are around us.
5 How long, LORD? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealousy burn like fire?
6 Pour out your wrath on the nations that don't know you; On the kingdoms that don't call on your names;
