1 Chronicles 15:1

And David made him houses in the city of David
With the help of the masons and carpenters Hiram sent him, ( 1 Chronicles 14:1 ) , the royal palace is meant, with all the apartments in it, which were many and large, as so great a family he had required, and with all the out houses to it necessary for his servants, and their offices:

and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent;
see ( 2 Samuel 6:17 ) .

1 Hizo también casas para sí en la ciudad de David, y labró un lugar para el arca de Dios, y le tendió una tienda

2 Entonces dijo David: El arca de Dios no debe ser traída sino por los levitas; porque a ellos ha elegido el SEÑOR para que lleven el arca del SEÑOR, y le sirvan perpetuamente

3 Y juntó David a todo Israel en Jerusalén, para que pasaran el arca del SEÑOR a su lugar, el cual le había él preparado

4 Juntó también David a los hijos de Aarón y a los levitas

5 de los hijos de Coat, Uriel el principal, y sus hermanos, ciento veinte
