12 y les dijo: Vosotros que sois los principales padres entre los levitas, santificaos a vosotros y a vuestros hermanos, y pasad el arca del SEÑOR Dios de Israel al lugar que le he preparado

1 Chronicles 15:12

And he said unto them, ye are the chief of the fathers of the
Levites
Of the families of the Levites, heads of their fathers' houses:

sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren;
respectively under each, whose numbers are before given, by washing their bodies and clothes, and abstaining from their wives:

that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel unto the
place that I have prepared for it;
( 2 Samuel 6:17 ) .

11 Y llamó también David a Sadoc y a Abiatar, sacerdotes, y a los levitas, Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semaías, Eliel, y Aminadab

12 y les dijo: Vosotros que sois los principales padres entre los levitas, santificaos a vosotros y a vuestros hermanos, y pasad el arca del SEÑOR Dios de Israel al lugar que le he preparado

13 pues por no haberlo hecho así vosotros la primera vez, el SEÑOR nuestro Dios hizo en nosotros rotura, por cuanto no le buscamos según su ordenanza

14 Así los sacerdotes y los levitas se santificaron para traer el arca del SEÑOR Dios de Israel
