26 Y oyéndolo el profeta que le había traído de vuelta del camino, dijo: El varón de Dios es, que fue rebelde al dicho del SEÑOR; por tanto el SEÑOR le ha entregado al león, que le ha quebrantado, matándole, conforme a la palabra del SEÑOR que él le dijo

1 Kings 13:26

And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard
thereof
The old prophet, that had deceived him, by telling him a lie: he said, it is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the
Lord;
but not a syllable does he say of his own sin in deceiving him; though one would think his own conscience must smite him for it: therefore the Lord hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn
him, and slain him, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake
unto him;
and that by himself, ( 1 Kings 13:21 1 Kings 13:22 ) .

24 y yéndose, se encontró un león en el camino, y le mató; y su cuerpo estaba echado en el camino, y el asno estaba junto a él, y el león también estaba junto al cuerpo

25 Y he aquí unos que pasaban, y vieron el cuerpo que estaba echado en el camino, y el león que estaba junto al cuerpo; y vinieron, y lo dijeron en la ciudad donde el viejo profeta habitaba

26 Y oyéndolo el profeta que le había traído de vuelta del camino, dijo: El varón de Dios es, que fue rebelde al dicho del SEÑOR; por tanto el SEÑOR le ha entregado al león, que le ha quebrantado, matándole, conforme a la palabra del SEÑOR que él le dijo

27 Y habló a sus hijos, y les dijo: Ensilladme un asno. Y ellos se lo ensillaron

28 Y él fue, y halló su cuerpo tendido en el camino, y el asno y el león estaban junto al cuerpo; el león no había comido el cuerpo, ni dañado al asno
