1 Kings 13:9

For so it was charged me by the word of the Lord
The command of the Lord, by which he came to Bethel, and cried against the altar there, ( 1 Kings 13:1 1 Kings 13:2 )

saying, eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way
that thou camest:
signifying that no communion was to be had with idolaters, nor any example to be set and followed; but the way to them, and to their idolatry, was to be shunned and avoided.

7 Y el rey dijo al varón de Dios: Ven conmigo a casa, y comerás, y yo te daré un don

8 Mas el varón de Dios dijo al rey: Si me dieras la mitad de tu casa, no iría contigo, ni comería pan ni bebería agua en este lugar

9 porque así me está mandado por palabra del SEÑOR, diciendo: No comas pan, ni bebas agua, ni vuelvas por el camino que fueres

10 Se fue pues por otro camino, y no volvió por el camino por donde había venido a Bet-el

11 Y moraba en Bet-el un viejo profeta, al cual unieron sus hijos, y le contó todo lo que el varón de Dios había hecho aquel día en Bet-el; y contaron también a su padre las palabras que había hablado al rey
