1 Kings 7:1

But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years
He made more haste with the house of God than with his own, for that was but seven years in building; which showed greater regard to the honour of God then to his own glory, or even convenience; nor was this built till after that:

and finished all his house;
or houses he undertook to build, the singular for the plural; even the house of God, his own palace, and that for the daughter of Pharaoh, and that which is next mentioned, which were in all twenty years building, ( 1 Kings 9:10 ) .

1 Mas su casa la edificó Salomón en trece años, y la acabó toda

2 Y asimismo edificó la casa del bosque del Líbano, la cual tenía cien codos de longitud, y cincuenta codos de anchura, y treinta codos de altura, sobre cuatro órdenes de columnas de cedro, con vigas de cedro sobre las columnas

3 Y estaba cubierta de tablas de cedro arriba sobre las vigas, que se apoyaban en cuarenta y cinco columnas; cada hilera tenía quince columnas

4 Las ventanas estaban por tres órdenes, una ventana contra la otra por tres órdenes

5 Y todas la puertas y postes eran cuadrados; y unas ventanas estaban frente a las otras en tres órdenes
