1 Samuel 14:17

Then said Saul unto the people that were with him
To some of the officers, particularly the muster master;

number now, and see who is gone from us:
for he concluded that this agitation and confusion in the host of the Philistines were occasioned by an enterprise of some of his men, who by some stratagem or another had thrown them into this disorder:

and when they had numbered:
which was soon done, being but six hundred men in all:

behold, Jonathan and his armourbearer were not there;
from whence it might be inferred, that this commotion the Philistines were in was occasioned by an onset of theirs on the outer guards or sentinels of their garrison or army, which had alarmed them.

15 Y hubo miedo en el real y por la tierra, y por todo el pueblo de la guarnición; y los que habían ido a destruir la tierra, también ellos temblaron, y la tierra fue alborotada, y hubo miedo de Dios

16 Y los centinelas de Saúl vieron desde Gabaa de Benjamín cómo la multitud estaba deshecha y daban el uno al otro

18 Y Saúl dijo a Ahías: Trae el arca de Dios. Porque el arca de Dios estaba entonces con los hijos de Israel

19 Y aconteció que estando aún hablando Saúl con el sacerdote, el alboroto que había en el campamento de los filisteos se aumentaba, e iba creciendo en gran manera. Entonces dijo Saúl al sacerdote: Detén tu mano
